Well…it’s been a while since the last BR update.

A few inactive directories removed, a few new ones added to the list. Will start promoting Bidilicious soon and hopefuly we can make it the best bidding directories list out there.

Just a quick heads up to let you know we have made a few small alterations to the Bidilicious Rank system to take into account some new criteria and improve performance.

This did result in a slight shift of the results with a few bidding directories increasing and a couple decreasing.

A bidding directory owner has also been in touch with us with a complaint about our ranking system which did highlight a small bug in the system. We are currently working on fixing the issue and will make an announcement when that has been completed.

In the meantime we would like to thank that person although they have requested to remain anonymous.

I am pleased to say that the new bidding directory resources section is almost complete.

So a final request before we put it live, if you have any bidding directory related resources be it templates, mods, guides or anything related to bidding directories please get in touch and let us know.

We have decided to start work on a new section of the Bidilicious web site which will contain bidding directory resources. The section will have links to the main scripts that can be used for bidding directories and we would like to offer details for templates and mods which users can use to improve their directories.

I am pleased to announce that the new BR or Bidilicous Rank system in now live on the web site.

We have spent several weeks working on the system in an effort to rank bidding directories based on their individual qualities whilst keeping the system as automated as possible.

Lots of research was carried out to identify exactly what submitters expected from bidding directories as well as what the owners set as their standards. We feel we have encompassed as many aspects as possible into the BR system that should keep both parties happy.

Zorg Links currently tops the list with a BR of 5.3 with Sumpen propping up the pack with a BR of 0.2!

In addition to releasing the new BR system we have also updated the bidding directory list. We have replaced PageRank with Bidilicious Rank and this is now the default sorting parameter for the list. We have also added the Traffic Rank for each of the web sites as well as the Highest Bid and the Starting Bid.

An update was also posted to the detail pages to include all of the aforementioned data along with various other statistics gathered from the search engines. And last but not least we have added in some screen shots of the bidding directories and an Alexa Graph is displayed to show the traffic trend.
